City Of Marietta Opens Public Comment For Rottenwood Creek Trail – Phase 1 Project Until April 13
The City of Marietta intends to concur that the proposed project would have only a minimal impact upon Wildwood Park.

MARIETTA – The Georgia Department of Transportation, in coordination with the City of Marietta and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), has initiated a project to construct the Rottenwood Creek Trail – Phase I from Alumni Drive to Franklin Gateway.

The proposed project would construct a 10-foot wide multi-use path from University Trail within Kennesaw State University – Marietta Campus to a city-owned greenspace on Franklin Gateway in the City. The proposed project would impact approximately 4.01 acres within the City of Marietta property in Wildwood Park; however, dependent upon feedback as a result of this notification, the City of Marietta intends to concur that the proposed project would have only a minimal impact upon Wildwood Park.
The City of Marietta is soliciting comments on the proposed project. Written statements will be accepted concerning this project until April 13, 2020. Written statements may be submitted to:
