Cobb County Restaurant Inspections: Bayou'Q, Chicken Salad Chick

COBB COUNTY, GA — Whether you're heading out for some tacos, barbecue, fried chicken or American cuisine, Cobb County has an array of dining options for you. And if you want to know which restaurants scored well on their health inspections — and which ones didn't — look no further.

Nearly 50 Cobb County restaurants and food-service operations, including Cobb County School District campuses, were inspected in the last week, with 38 of those entities receiving As.

Nine of them received grades of B, and one received a grade of C: Stilesboro Biscuits in Kennesaw. Additionally, Bandido Wings in Marietta received an unacceptable score.

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points.

Letter grades assigned are A for totals of 100 to 90 points, B for 89 to 80, C for 79 to 70, and U for less than 70.
