Cobb County Restaurant Inspections: Chipotle, Frozen Cow Creamery

COBB COUNTY, GA — From Acworth to Austell, Kennesaw to East Cobb, here's how Cobb County restaurants and food-service operations fared in their health inspections since June 3.

A total of 36 places were inspected in the last week, with 27 of those entities receiving As.

Eight of them received grades of B. None received a C, and one received an unacceptable score: Chef Smokey's in Austell.

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points.

Letter grades assigned are A for totals of 100 to 90 points, B for 89 to 80, C for 79 to 70, and U for less than 70.
