Cobb County Restaurant Scores: Otter's Chicken, Night Owl Pizza

COBB COUNTY, GA — Just over 20 Cobb County restaurants and food-service operations were inspected in the last week, including in Acworth, Atlanta, Austell, Kennesaw, Mableton, Marietta and Powder Springs. Here's how they fared in their health inspections since July 15.

A total of 21 eateries were inspected, with 14 of those entities receiving As and seven of them receiving grades of B. None received a C or below.

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points.

Letter grades assigned are A for totals of 100 to 90 points, B for 89 to 80, C for 79 to 70 and U for less than 70.
