Cobb Parks Unveils New Escape Room

Plan your next great escape at the Cobb County parks department's newest escape room, The Emporium, while it's open this summer.

COBB COUNTY, GA — Cobb County opened its newest escape room, The Emporium, and you have until the end of July to check it out.

The Emporium escape room opened Friday and will run through July 31, according to a news release. Up to six people can participate in an escape room game, where you're "locked" in the room until you complete the puzzles to escape; however, all entry doors will actually remain unlocked for the duration of the game.

In this team adventure, your cousin is the owner of a local emporium and has gone missing. You step in to take his place while you try to figure out where he is. This particular escape room lasts 60 minutes and requires interaction with liquids and fragile items, such as ceramics and glass.
