Cobb Restaurant Inspections: Tin Lizzy's, Loaded Potato Bar

COBB COUNTY, GA — More than 50 Cobb County restaurants and food-service operations were inspected in the last week, including in Acworth, Atlanta, East Cobb, Kennesaw, Marietta and Smyrna. Here's how they fared in their health inspections since June 24.

A total of 53 eateries were inspected, with 38 of those entities receiving As and 11 of them receiving grades of B. Three received Cs and one received an unacceptable score: Tandoor Restaurant in Marietta.

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points.

Letter grades assigned are A for totals of 100 to 90 points, B for 89 to 80, C for 79 to 70, and U for less than 70.
