Cobb Veteran Leading The Way In Eco-Friendly Junk Removal
May is Military Appreciation Month. Now in the Army National Guard, Shelby Gann is helping residents and businesses declutter.
MARIETTA, GA -- A local Veteran-owned and operated business is giving back to the Atlanta community. Currently serving in the Army National Guard, Shelby Gann is helping Atlanta residents and businesses declutter through her role as district manager of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Atlanta. Through JDog, Gann is on a mission to support veterans and veteran family members, and currently has five Veterans and four military family members on her team.
JDog recycles, repurposes and reuses whatever items they can, and donates to local charitable organizations like Dwell with Dignity, an organization that designs and installs complete home interiors for families in need, and the Warrior Alliance, which helps veterans and their families achieve a fulfilling civilian life.
JDog also partners with several veteran centers to find soldiers in need of everyday household items. When she’s not serving or working for JDog, Gann volunteers her time to support charitable events at the local American Legion.
