- The Marietta woman that crashed into Rottenwood Creek has died. Allison Harris, 25 years old, crashed into the creek on Sunday around 10:00 p.m. She was driving a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. The crash is currently being investigated by the Marietta Police Department. (Marietta Patch)
- State officials report that five men have been indicted on charges related to a Marietta apartment complex drive-by shooting. The incident occurred on Jun. 25, 2021, at Mulkey Road's Orchard Mills apartment complex. No one was injured during the incident. Four of the individuals indicted are allegedly part of the 2Solid street gang, and the fifth individual is allegedly associated with the Good Product Team gang. (Subscription: AJC.com)
- A Cobb County man had issues casting his ballot in the upcoming election due to his generic name. Michael Smith had been trying to cast his ballot since Oct. 24 but was unable to do so since his voting record kept getting transferred to another county. There are over 80 registered voters with the name Michael Smith in Cobb County. (11 Alive)
