MARIETTA, GA — Arrests related to two armed robberies in the City of Marietta may also be linked to several other armed robberies in Metro Atlanta, according to police. The Game Stop on Cobb Parkway was robbed on Sept. 27 and the Hibbett Sports on Whitlock Avenue was robbed last week.
The suspects charged Monday with armed robbery in both cases are Tyvonne Lamont Wiley, 20 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Tevin Deshaun Mitchell, 22, of Atlanta; and Torey Bryson Starling, 23 of Marietta.
Investigators believe the suspects are connected to other armed robberies in Cobb County, Roswell, Sandy Springs and Atlanta, according to Marietta Police. More charges are expected and more arrests are possible as the investigation continues.

According to police, the break in the case came with a description provided by a witness of a white Hyundai Sonata in the Sept. 27 Game Stop robbery. That description matched a similar case in Cobb County and led to the discovery of other similarities to Game Stop robberies in the region.
Several agencies began working together on the case and were able to secure the warrants on the suspects. Marietta Police claim that Tyvonne Wiley is an active gang member of the Get Money Squad based in Cobb County. Wiley and Mitchell are also wanted out of Dallas County, Texas for similar incidents, according to Marietta Police.
