Man Arrested On Battery Charges After Shots Fired At Marietta Business
The manager at a Marietta business fired a shot in efforts to stop a husband from attacking his wife at her job, police said.

MARIETTA, GA — A dispute at a Cobb Parkway business led to gunfire and a man's arrest Tuesday, Marietta Police said Wednesday.
Police said Joao Batista Dossantos, 47, of Marietta, arrived at his wife's job and began verbally and physically attacking her in the 400 block of Cobb Parkway.
The manager attempted to stop Dossantos, engaging in a physical dispute, but police said the manager could not stop him.

The manager then pulled out a handgun and shot one time at the ceiling in an effort to get Dossantos to leave, police said.
Dossantos was arrested on charges of simple battery, simple battery family violence and disorderly conduct and was booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, police said.
