Drive-by Shooting Reported in Front of High School

Nobody was injured and no damage was reported, Cobb County Schools Police said Thursday.

Cobb County Schools Police responded to a reported drive-by shooting in front of Osborne High School on Tuesday afternoon, the department said Thursday.

“A parent reported a drive-by shooting in front of Osborne High School on December 1 around 5:30pm,” Chief Ron Storey said in a statement.

“The parent stated that a silver vehicle was passing Osborne High School, and an unknown subject placed a gun out the window and fired several shots toward the school.”

Storey said that the vehicle was last seen driving into the Caswyck Trail Apartments, but officers were not able to locate it.

Nobody was injured and no damage was done to the building, according to Storey.
