Fatal Marietta Shooting Suspect Turns Self In, 2 More Sought
Police are seeking two suspects in an Oct. 6 shooting that left one dead and two injured.
MARIETTA, GA — A man has turned himself in to the Cobb County Sheriff's Office after being charged in a murder case.
Kashman Thomas, 22, turned himself in on Tuesday, Oct. 15, nine days after Cobb County police got a warrant for his arrest on charges of felony murder, three counts of aggravated assault and two counts of aggravated battery.
The Cobb County Police Department says that on Sunday, Oct. 6, around 11:40 a.m., officers went to the 3000 block of Hidden Forest Court in a call about a person shot.

They found a man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the back. He was dead when police arrived. He was later identified as 18-year-old Oluwafemi Oyerinde of Lawrenceville.
Two more people had been shot as well, police say. They were identified as Khalil Bennett of Grayson and Jarius Bonner, both 18. They were transported to a hospital for their injuries.

Police learned there had been a dispute between neighbors before the shooting.
Thomas is being held in jail without bond.
