Find A New Feline Friend At Cat-Tastic Adoption Bash In Marietta

MARIETTA, GA — This weekend, Marietta and surrounding residents will have a chance to give some feline friends a new home.

Best Friends Animal Society, a nonprofit group with pet shelters throughout metro Atlanta, is hosting a Cat-Tastic Howl-O-Ween adoption party Saturday at the PetSmart located at 1285 Johnson Ferry Road. Shelter workers will be outside the PetSmart from noon to 4 p.m.

According to the BFAS website, there are about 40 cats and kittens available for adoption at the Marietta location. Saturday's event includes a prize wheel with games, giveaways, candy and treats — both for the kitties and humans.

Adoption fees start at $25 and include vaccination, microchipping and spaying/neutering. Those who show up in a Halloween costume will get a $10 discount off pet adoption fees.
