Free Eye Exams, Glasses For Youth Available In Cobb

Registration is open for Vision To Learn's free eye exams and glasses for those age 5-18, available at three Cobb libraries in June.

COBB COUNTY, GA — Three Cobb County libraries will offer free vision screenings, eye exams and glasses for youth age 5-18 next month, thanks to national nonprofit Vision To Learn.

VTL's mobile clinic is coming back to Sibley, South Cobb Regional and Gritters libraries in June to provide these free services, according to a news release from the Cobb County Public Library system. Registration is required to participate, and space is limited.

  • Sibley Library, 1539 South Cobb Drive SE, Marietta
  • South Cobb Regional Library, 805 Clay Road, Mableton
  • Gritters Library, 880 Shaw Park Road, Marietta

The nonprofit has provided mobile clinic visits at Cobb libraries since mid-2018, and has resulted in more than 900 eye exams in Cobb County with more than 600 children receiving free glasses, the release said.
