  1. The Girls Inc. Mother and Daughter Summit will take place on Mar. 11 at KIPP WAYS Academy from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event, which celebrates Women’s History Month, features seminars and workshops that support a holistic approach to women's health and well-being, while simultaneously strengthening mother-daughter relationships.   2. The nomination portal for Cobb Executive Women's 2023 "Woman of Distinction" award is now open through Apr. 21.   3. Cobb County firefighter, Julian Daniels, passed away early last week on his 18-year work anniversary with Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services. The 43-year-old joined the team on Feb. 28, 2005. At this time, the cause of death is not yet known. (Patch)
