- A Cobb County high school band was gifted $15,000 to go towards funding the band's opportunity to perform in the 2022 Sugar Bowl Parade and game. The Pebblebrook High School Band will participate in the parade on Dec. 30 in New Orleans, Louisiana. (WSB Radio)
- A man from New Jersey was arrested after reportedly attempting to force his way into a Marietta home and injuring one of the homeowners. The man knocked on the door of the home and attempted to force his way inside when the couple answered the door. The suspect was arrested by police. (Marietta Patch)
- A Cobb County officer was recognized by the Cobb County Police Department for his act of kindness. Officer Withers noticed a man needing a place to stay during the freezing Thursday night cold. The officer used his own money to buy the man a hotel room and a hot meal. (WSB Atlanta)

- Dangerous freezing temperatures came to Cobb County this weekend. The Cobb County Government has provided information regarding the county's response to Gov. Kemp's declaration of a state of emergency for Georgia. (Press Release Desk )
