Husband In Custody After Woman, 66, Found Dead In Marietta

MARIETTA, GA -- A man is in custody Wednesday after his 66-year-old wife was found dead the night before in her Marietta home, Patch has learned.
Donny Eaton, 64, of Marietta is being held on charges of murder and aggravated assault, according to information from the Cobb County Sheriff's Office.
Roxanne Eaton was found by authorities at her home on Liberty Hill Road home after a call to police from emergency officials in Floyd County, according to news reports.

“The Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office has not confirmed the manner and cause of death, but foul play is suspected,” Cobb police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Eaton's sons told WAGA-TV that their mother would never hurt anyone and was an amazing woman.

Donny Eaton turned himself in to authorities in Bartow County late Tuesday and has been transferred to Cobb County jail.
