  1. The ongoing I-75 lane closures in Fulton and Cobb Counties have ended, effective this morning at 5:00 a.m. The weekend closures between Allgood Road and the Roswell Road overpass allowed crews to repair and replace the bridges' components. The final project will likely be completed in fall 2023. (Cobb County Courier)
  2. As of Friday, Oct. 21, 51,779 Cobb County voters have cast an advance in-person ballot. The unofficial tally was published on the Cobb County elections website. So far, the county has rejected eight absentee ballots for various reasons. Click the following link for a full breakdown of the unofficial tally by voting location. (Cobb County Courier)
  3. Marietta's Dr. Amber Bonnaig contributed to a report on a rising trend of “DIY Dentistry.” According to the dentist, the main contributing factor to the trend is a lack of dental care access. Amazon has been selling DIY dental kits online such as a 25-piece tooth gem kit and a temporary tooth repair kit. Residents are asked to only use products with the ADA seal of acceptance. (WUSF)
