In Loving Memory of Ellen W. Johnson, 91

Ellen W. Johnson, 91, of Marietta passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Dallas, GA. She graduated from Osborne High School and Greenleaf Business College. She began her career as an executive secretary at Curtis Publishing Company and Lockheed, then spent the majority of her career in the banking industry. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church, the American Business Women’s Association and the Dahlia Society of Georgia.

Survivors include one daughter, Leanne Wood and her husband, David of Powder Springs, GA; one son, Alan Johnson and his wife, Karen of Watkinsville, GA; grandchildren, Stacey Fisher and her husband, Rob, Danielle Wood and Stephanie Wood; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert Johnson.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
