  1. A Cobb County man has been sentenced to life in prison for raping and assaulting his girlfriend. Frederick Woodard, 40 years old, was convicted on Oct. 28 by a Cobb County jury. He was sentenced by a Cobb County Superior Court Judge to life without the possibility of parole. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  2. Marietta's Fair Oaks Community Center polling location stayed open until 7:06 p.m. on Tuesday. Polling locations were supposed to stay open until 7:00 p.m., but hiccups and delays extended the closing period. The extended voting period order was signed by Superior Court Judge Gregory Poole after the polling location delayed its opening. (11 Alive)
  3. Cobb County's unofficial election results for Tuesday's election have been published. Brian Kemp won the Gubernatorial race against Stacey Abrams. As of Wednesday afternoon, Raphael Warnock was leading Hershel Walker in the U.S. Senate race, but the vote tally was still too close to call at that time.
