Man Sought Who Shot Into Neighbor's Home After Party Snub: Police
Cobb police are searching for Cody Demmitt, who's accused of shooting multiple rounds into a neighbor's home over a game night dispute.

COBB COUNTY, GA — Cobb County police are asking for the public's help in finding a man accused of firing multiple gunshots into a Marietta neighbor's home over not being invited to a couples' game night.
Around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Cobb County Police Department officers were dispatched to a home on Westchase Drive for a report of a person shot, according to Cobb police spokesperson Officer S.A. Barner.
Upon arrival, officers found a male victim, whose name has not been released, with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Barner said.

Detectives said the suspect, Cody Demmitt, shot multiple rounds into his neighbor's house after being denied access to their party. Demmitt fled the scene before police arrived.
Police are seeking Demmitt on aggravated assault charges.
