Marietta Bank Robbed at Gunpoint
The suspect departed in a black 2007 Honda Accord bearing Georgia tag BTI 2430 that was reported stolen from Gwinnett County on April 30, 2014.
Cobb police say an armed man robbed a Marietta bank early Saturday morning.
According to investigators, the perpetrator entered the Chase Bank, located at 1740 Powder Springs Road, at around 9 a.m. brandishing a handgun and ordered the tellers to the ground.
The suspect then approached one of the tellers and demanded money from her cash drawer. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash, fled the bank and then was seen getting into a black Honda, which was parked on the side of the bank.Â

The black 2007 Honda Accord, which was seen heading south on Powder Springs Road, has a Georgia tag BTI 2430 and was reported stolen from Gwinnett County on April 30, 2014.
There were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described a black male, standing between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8. He was last seen wearing all black clothing, a baseball cap and a cloth mask covering his face. The suspect was also wearing dark work gloves and muddy black work boots.Â
