Marietta Man Struck by Car, Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries
Marietta police are investigating the Monday morning incident.
A Marietta man is fighting for his life at WellStar Kennestone Hospital after he was hit by a car while attempting to cross the street Monday morning, Marietta police say.
David Wehunt, 56, was attempting to cross South Marietta Parkway at South Fairground Street just after 5 a.m. when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Loretta Williams, according to police.
Wehunt suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Kennestone Hospital, police say.
