Marietta Museum Invites Residents To Participate In 'Diverse Cobb' Project
The Marietta Museum is extending its "Diverse Cobb" photo and artifact collection drive into this week.

MARIETTA, GA -- The Marietta Museum of History is making every effort to capture the stories of as many residents as possible. Along these lines, it is extending its "Diverse Cobb” photo and artifact collection drive from Monday, July 10 to Friday, July 15 from 10a.m. to 4 p.m., the city announced recently.
The museum, located at 1 Depot Street, Marietta, GA 30060, is looking for photos and objects from Cobb residents who have not yet participated. "This event is unique because donors will have the option to have their photos scanned and returned to them or they can permanently donate their photos to be securely housed in our archives," the museum said in a news release. "You may also bring items that fit our Museum’s mission and relate to Cobb’s diverse history such as old businesses, schools, churches and community members for inclusion into our archives."
