- Georgia's average gas price has fallen by seven cents per gallon since last week. The state's average price is now $3.04 per gallon. Despite the statewide decrease, Cobb County's average price is still six cents above the state average. The national gas price has been trending down due to falling oil prices. (Cobb County Courier)
- The Marietta Pilgrimage Christmas Home Tour will be on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4. The event allows participants to tour some of the city's most beautiful homes. The event begins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. This is the first time that the event has been held since 2019. Click for ticket details. (City of Marietta)
- The utility relocation project at the Polk Street and Mountain View intersection has begun. The project will likely last through the next week if weather allows. The right turn lane onto westbound Polk Street will be closed for about one week. There will likely be additional lane closures on the southwest corner of the intersection. Please plan travel accordingly. (City of Marietta)
