Marietta Police League Receives Donations
The funds will be used to support health and athletics programs from Marietta's youth.

From the Marietta Police Department
Marietta Police Athletic League (PAL) was recently awarded $2,000.00 from 6-4-3 Foundation and $3,500.00 from the Atlanta Braves Foundation. Marietta PAL will be using these funds to support health, nutrition and athletics programs for the youth in the community.
The Marietta PAL Chapter started in June of 2007 and is steadily growing each year. During the year PAL offers afterschool programs and summer camps for the youth in Marietta. The Lawrence Street Recreation Center is the home of Marietta PAL and offers a large gym area and a beautiful outdoor playground. While at PAL, the youth get to connect with local law enforcement officers through playing their favorite sports. If you are interested in volunteering with PAL or signing your child up to participate, please contact Daneea Badio at DBadio@mariettaga.gov or by phone at 770-794-2365.
