Marietta Square Market Food Hall Planned: Report

MARIETTA, GA -- The success of food hall-style dining in Atlanta's Ponce City Market and Krog Street Market is catching on in Marietta.

A developer is planning to bring the food hall experience to the city in a new project, Patch has learned.

According to the Marietta Daily Journal, Concordia Properties, one of the project's developers, announced Thursday a proposed food hall called Marietta Square Market, which will consist of three anchor restaurants surrounded by eight smaller eateries in booths and kiosks throughout an 18,000-square-foot facility.

The food hall will be built in an old warehouse on 68 North Marietta Parkway, according to the Journal, which cites plans filed with the city.
