Missing Cobb Man Found Dead In Atlanta
BREAKING: The body of Austin Dale Hart was discovered in northwest Atlanta, according to news reports.
ATLANTA, GA -- A Cobb County man who went missing after telling his mother that he was headed to Atlanta was found dead Thursday, Patch has learned.
The body of Austin Dale Hart was discovered in the northwest part of the city by a volunteer who searches for missing and exploited children, according to news reports.
While it is unclear how or when Hart died, his body was found in a field and covered with discarded tires.

A group of girls had put the body there, near a large housing complex in the 1000 block of Neal Place, according to WGCL-TV.

CBS46 was told a bunch of girls took his body and dumped it in a field, and covered it with a bunch of tires.
Hart's mother recently informed Atlanta police that her son told her he was headed for the city.

The family got a phone call from a man they didn't know saying that Hart's vehicle was found at Paines Avenue and Pelham Street near the Vine City part of Atlanta. Parts of the area are known heroin dens.
A GoFundMe account set up to help the family with costs associated with Hart's burial surpassed its $5,000 goal in less than eight hours.
"Austin was one of a kind with a heart of gold. These funds will go directly to the family to assist with funeral expenses and ease the financial burden of losing a loved one," the account reads.
