Here are the top three stories today in Marietta:

1. A motorcycle crash early Wednesday morning in Marietta has left one man in the hospital with serious injuries. The 36-year-old Chatsworth man, whose identity has not been released, crashed into a parked car on Interstate 75 north. The man hit a parked and unoccupied Volkswagen Jetta on the left shoulder of the road. The investigation into the crash is ongoing. (Marietta Patch)
2. Some Cobb County residents could experience delays in receiving their water bills this month. Staff shortages due to the contractor used by the Cobb County Water system led to hold-ups as they read residents' meters. Issues during the holiday season and due to the weather are also responsible for the delays. (11Alive.com WXIA)
