  1. The Marietta Police Department has identified the individual who was struck by four cars on Roswell Road. Ismael Bernardo Morales, 38, was struck by the vehicles in the 1400 block last week on Saturday around 9:15 p.m. He was a Marietta resident that was originally from Guatemala. The department has not filed any charges in the incident. (Marietta Patch)
  2. Christopher Patrick Golden, 30, has been indicted on murder charges for allegedly killing two Cobb County deputies. According to investigators, Golden killed Jonathan Randall Koleski and Marshall Samual Ervin Jr. on Sep. 8 while the deputies were serving an arrest warrant. He has been held in the Cobb County Jail since the night of the shooting. (Subscription: The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
  3. According to the Cobb County Police Department, the car break-in suspect that was shot was attempting to hide in a manhole while fleeing from officers. According to the department, four individuals were breaking into cars at the Rodeway Inn off Winchester Parkway. The department alleges that one of the individuals pointed a gun at an officer while fleeing. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the incident. (WSB Atlanta)
