  1. Marietta has a new chicken restaurant. Cozy Coop, a fast-food restaurant, opened its new Barrett Creek Blvd location on Tuesday. The restaurant was established by Atlanta Chef Ricky Navas and restauranteur Mike Madonna. The restaurant operates from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and offers carryout. (Marietta Patch)
  2. More than 100 eighth-grade students from Marietta Middle School honored a WWII veteran on Monday. Charles Edwards, 98 years old, was surprised at his Marietta home by the students carrying American flags, balloons, and handmade posters. The students presented Edwards with a signed football to commemorate his time as the Marietta High School quarterback in 1942. (11Alive.com WXIA)
  3. Hundreds of antisemitic fliers were found in Cobb County neighborhoods. The fliers were found in county residents' mailboxes over the weekend in Kennesaw and Acworth areas. Some residents discovered little plastic baggies with small antisemitic fliers and corn kernels in them while walking through the county. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
