Cobb County’s animal shelter is full to bursting with pit bulls, and Animal Control staff are trying to adopt out as many of the loving but misunderstood dogs as possible before the summer comes to a close.
The shelter’s “Tail End of Summer” campaign, which wraps up Tuesday, is offering a flat fee of $20 for any pit bull or pit bull mix adoptions from the shelter. The fee includes a full vet check, spay/neuter services and up-to-date shots and worming.

For more information on the sale, contact the shelter at (770) 499-4136 or head over to 1060 Al Bishop Drive in Marietta.
