  1. The Marietta Police Department is adding a wellness room for employees to decompress between calls. The initiative is meant to prepare officers to transition to the next response call. The wellness room is being funded through the City of Marietta's recently approved Mental and Emotional Wellbeing Initiative for public safety employees. (WSB Radio)
  2. The Marietta Police Department is currently investigating a Sunday crash that occurred near 1035 Franklin Gateway. The 25-year-old crash victim was driving her 2017 Hyundai Elantra at the time of the crash. She drove off the road and landed upside down in Rottenwood Creek.   3. The American Alliance of Museum's Center for the Future of Museums has recognized Marietta's historic William Root House Museum & Garden. The recognition is for the museum's use of touchscreen technology in its interactive experience. The museum educates the community about middle-class life in Antebellum Georgia.
