  1. The Cobb County Board of Commissioners has approved the use of facial recognition technology in the Cobb County Police Department. Officers will be employing Clearview AI technology to help catch suspects. The department already has experience with this technology, having tested it during a seven-month pilot program. There is still heated debate regarding how this decision impacts the privacy of citizens. (11Alive.com WXIA)
  2. The Marietta Georgia Police Department is hiring. They have several different positions available. Some of the jobs they are hiring for include Records Clerk and Mechanic. They are also seeking people interested in joining the force as police officers. (Marietta, Georgia Police Department)
  3. On Sunday, the East Cobb United Methodist Church will be holding its Christmas at East Cobb Concert. Titled, "Let Heaven and Nature Sing," the concert will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the church. The Chancel Choir Seasonal Singers, Children, and Chamber Orchestra will be performing. Nursery services are available to families during the concert. (East Cobb UMC)
