Police Offer Mass Shooting Seminar
Marietta police want to teach residents what they can do if they find themselves in the midst of an active shooter event.

The Marietta Police Department invites you to attend an upcoming seminar on December 9th, 2015 on how to react if you find yourself in the middle of an incident. The seminar is called “Citizen Response to Active Shooter Events” and will be held at the Marietta Performance Art Center located at the Marietta High School, 1171 Whitlock Ave. The seminar will be begin at 6:00pm. Attendees will receive instruction about how to prepare for and respond to being trapped inside a building during an active shooter event. There are several simple steps that those can take to assist law enforcement response and limit the number of potential victims accessible to the shooter.
