  2. Make this the best holiday season ever for a rescue dog or cat by adopting a shelter animal. Cobb County Courier’s Dog of the Day is looking for his forever home, and it could be yours. According the Cobb Animal Shelter, Ziggy is a big sweetie! He's a mixed pitbull-type dog who wants nothing more than to cuddle with his family. Ziggy will be available for adoption on Dec. 13. (Cobb County Courier)
  3. A new wedding concierge service has opened in nearby Paper Mill Village. Engaged Wedding Library – located at 255 Village Pkwy, Suite 510 – helps couples plan their weddings. From our sponsor:

Are you a Marietta resident looking for an investment alternative to the stock market? Consider fine art. Masterworks is the award-winning platform helping 575,000+ invest in works by the same world-renowned artists that are coveted by ultra-wealthy collectors and major museums alike (think Picasso, Basquiat, and Banksy.) Masterworks splits these multi-million dollar works into shares, so you can invest without breaking the bank.

Contemporary art has outpaced the stock market by a whopping 131% over the last 26 years. Seven of Masterworks’ eight sold paintings gave their investors a +17.8% net returns*.
