  1. The Roswell Police Department is actively searching for a missing Marietta man. Hussein Esmail went missing around 9:00 p.m. on Friday near Riverside Road and Old Alabama Road. He resides in Marietta on Ruby Street. Anyone with information about Esmail's whereabouts is asked to contact the department. (Georgia Sun)
  2. Five new judges have been appointed to the Cobb County Magistrate Court. The appointments were made by Chief Magistrate Judge Brendan F. Murphy. A magistrate judge issues warrants and handles legal issues that don't require a trial. The appointments were Jana J. Edmondson-Cooper, Lauren R. Boone, Ronna M. Woodruff, Che A. Karega II, and Barry E. Morgan. Edmondson-Cooper will be full-time and the others will be part-time. (Cobb County Courier)
  3. Cobb County's average gas price is currently a cent more than Georgia's average. The state average is currently $3.17 per gallon, according to AAA — The Auto Club Group. The price has been declining for the last few months but rose by five cents this past week. The increase is due to higher gasoline demand. (Cobb County Courier)
