- Marietta's Georgia Symphony Orchestra has been awarded a $15,000 grant to fund its next Sensory Friendly concert. The next concert will be at the Marietta Performing Arts Center on Oct. 15. The Sensory Friendly concert's purpose is to accommodate those with sensory sensitivities. The concert will allow attendees to dance, speak, sing, or vocalize freely throughout. (Cobb County Courier)
- Esco Restaurant & Tapas is planning an expansion into Marietta. The eatery was co-founded by Grammy Award-winning rapper 2 Chainz. The concept offers a diverse breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. Guests can choose from items such as macaroni & cheese spring rolls, cajun salmon, or alfredo pasta. There will even be cocktail and hookah options. (614now.com)
- The Cobb County Police Department has arrested a man for trespassing in Atlanta Country Club Estates over the weekend. According to the department, Mark Jason Stubblefield, 52, has been charged with one count of criminal trespass. He remains in jail on a $1,320 bond. The man was supposedly acting very bizarre, erratic, and agitated. (WSBTV)
