  1. Police in nearby Sandy Springs are investigating a car crash involving seven vehicles that resulted in massive delays along Interstate 285 early Sunday morning. One person was injured and taken to a nearby hospital. Investigators are looking into what caused the crash and all lanes have since reopened. (WSB Atlanta)
  2. A fire in nearby Sandy Springs broke out in a residential area off Fountain Oaks Lane on Saturday evening leaving one person hospitalized. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the fire department's arson investigators. (11Alive.com WXIA)
  3. The 2023 Military Academy Day was hosted by a bipartisan group of Georgia’s congressional delegation at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta to address the ongoing military recruiting crisis. More than 100 children and teens from Georgia attended the event to learn about opportunities to seek an appointment at one of the U.S. service academies. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
