MARIETTA, GA -- A SWAT team descended upon an apartment complex in Cobb County early Thursday morning, Patch has learned. Authorities took two people into custody to question them in a shooting that happened just after midnight, according to news reports.
A man was taken to a hospital after being shot near Windy Hill Road. The victim was being treated for a collapsed lung, according to WAGA-TV.
Police detained two suspects after tracking them to the Brix on Beech apartment complex at 16 Beech Rd SW in Marietta. Cobb police officials said that although a SWAT unit was on the scene, it was not really a SWAT call-out.
