Southern Poly President Seeks New Job
Lisa Rossbacher is one of five finalists visiting Wichita State to try to win that university's top job.

President Lisa Rossbacher will make her public pitch for a new job Wednesday.
Rossbacher is one of five finalists for the presidency of Wichita (KS) State University, and all five are scheduled to visit the campus and hold public forums to answer questions and explain why they would be right for the job.
Rossbacher’s trip to Kansas is set for Wednesday. University of Missouri-St. Louis Provost Glen Hahn Cope visited Monday, as covered by The Wichita Eagle, and University of South Dakota Provost Chuck Staben followed Tuesday.

Bjong Wolf Yeigh, the president of the State University of New York Institution of Technology, and John William Bardo, the former chancellor of Western Carolina University, are scheduled to appear at Wichita State next week.

Rossbacher has been Southern Polytechnic’s president since 1998, about a year longer than retiring Wichita State President Donald Beggs has held his job. Beggs is leaving June 30.
The Kansas Board of Regents is expected to announce the new president in May.
