- A major car crash closed all lanes on Marietta's Spinks Drive. The crash occurred on Saturday afternoon shortly after 5:00 p.m., according to the Marietta Police Department. The department's traffic unit was dispatched to work and clear the scene. The road's lanes reopened overnight. (11Alive.com WXIA)
- The City of Marietta will be hosting a public meeting next month to discuss Marietta's Consolidated Plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 11:00 a.m. at 268 Lawrence Street, Suite 200. The purpose of the program is to provide funding for activities that support lower-income residents. - Cobb County's early runoff election voting is currently underway. Voters in Marietta took to the polls on Saturday when they opened at noon.
