Here are the top three stories in Marietta today:

1. A major car crash closed all lanes on Marietta's Spinks Drive. The crash occurred on Saturday afternoon shortly after 5:00 p.m., according to the Marietta Police Department. The department's traffic unit was dispatched to work and clear the scene. The road's lanes reopened overnight. (11Alive.com WXIA)
2. The City of Marietta will be hosting a public meeting next month to discuss Marietta's Consolidated Plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 11:00 a.m. at 268 Lawrence Street, Suite 200. The purpose of the program is to provide funding for activities that support lower-income residents. 3. Cobb County's early runoff election voting is currently underway. Voters in Marietta took to the polls on Saturday when they opened at noon.
