Teacher Threatened, Osborne Student Arrested

The incident happened Thursday.

An Osborne High School student was caught with a stun gun after he allegedly threatened a teacher.

About 10:30 a.m. Thursday, 18-year-old Dedric Bryant Garrett hurled vulgarities and threats toward a teacher after the man told the teen to go to class.

The threats caused "the teacher to fear for his safety and well being," an officer wrote in a Cobb County criminal warrant. "The teacher had to leave his class during class hours to try to get the accused and two juveniles to leave the hallway."
