Two Charged In Fatal Shooting Outside Marietta Pappadeaux
BREAKING: Cobb officials bring murder charges against Dylan Marquis Ledbetter and Demarious Greene in slaying outside restaurant.

MARIETTA, GA -- Law enforcement officials in Cobb County have charged two men with murder in the fatal shooting of a man outside a popular seafood restaurant in Marietta. One of the suspects snatched a necklace off the neck of the victim's wife in the brazen attack, which occurred last fall.
Anthony and Cynthia Welch were leaving Pappadeaux restaurant on Windy Hill Road in October when Cobb investigators said two man walked up to them and opened fire. Anthony Welch was fatally wounded in the shooting.
Dylan Marquis Ledbetter and Demarious Greene were charged this week with felony murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault, the Cobb Sheriff's Office confirmed to Patch. Both suspects were already in jail.

Days later, officers traced a vehicle in the shooting to Ledbetter, resulting in a confrontation in which he was shot twice when he sped toward them, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. He was also tied to a snatch-and-grab in Sandy Springs last October.
Green was in custody on charges related to a robbery at a Cherokee County outlet mall. Woodstock officials said Greene, 21, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
