Both incidents happened in the middle of the night with no students or staff present on campus. (WSB Atlanta)
- Lisa Cupid, Cobb Commission chairwoman, is scheduled to deliver the annual State of the County address Thursday, May 4, at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre. Cupid will discuss the theme of "ALL IN for Cobb," where she will introduce individuals "demonstrating integrity, inclusiveness, investment in others, innovation, and intelligent decision-making for the county," according to an announcement for the event. The address is slated for 7:00 p.m. (East Cobb News)
- A Cobb County mother was arrested after getting high on drugs and passing out at a McDonald's drive-thru with her baby in the car. Warren faces multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of cocaine, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, driving under the influence of drugs, and endangering a child by driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
