Two Of Three Suspects Arrested In Marietta Car Theft Ring: Police
Marietta police say trio masterminding $300K car theft ring at Ellis Audi dealerships. One of the suspects remains at large.
MARIETTA, GA -- Police in Cobb County have uncovered a car theft ring involving three men and six vehicles worth a combined value of more than $300,000, Marietta law enforcement officials said. Two of the men have been arrested, but police are soliciting the public's help in finding the third suspect.
All of the vehicles were stolen from Jim Ellis Audi in thefts taken from April to June 2016, police said. Investigators were able to link the crimes together after an extensive investigation that took more than a year. Each suspect played a distinct role in the elaborate scheme, which included reselling the vehicles, police said.
Warrants were issued last month for Mann Abess El-Ali, who was arrested two weeks ago. He remains behind bars at the Cobb Adult Detention Center. Investigators said that it was El-Ali who snatched keys to the vehicles from a locked cabinet at Jim Ellis Audi.

Another suspect, Ola Campbell Oginni, was arrested in early April as well and has since bonded out of the Cobb jail. Detectives claim that it was Oginni's job to broker the illicit sales of the stolen vehicles and got commissions on each transaction.
Suspect Akintayo Bolorunduro is still on the run. Anyone with information on Bolorunduro's whereabouts is asked to contact the Marietta Police Department Anonymous Tip Line at 770-794-6990.
