Two Tried To Break Into Marietta Liquor Stores: Police

Marietta police say two liquor stores were hit 20 minutes apart.

MARIETTA, GA -- Police in Marietta are soliciting the public's help in finding two men who tried to break into two liquor stores Thursday, according to news reports.

Police responded to alarms at the Bev Maxx on Fairground Street at 5:38 a.m., according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Twenty minutes later, at 5:58 a.m., the alarm at Eastside Bottle Shop on Roswell Road went off, police said. There, police discovered signs of force entry, the AJC reported.
