  1. Marietta's 2022 Veterans Day Parade has been canceled. The parade was originally scheduled for today at 11:00 a.m. through Marietta Square. The cancelation is due to the impending impact of Tropical Storm Nicole, which will be hitting the metro Atlanta area through Friday. The parade has not been rescheduled at this time. (WSB Atlanta)
  2. The Marietta History Center has announced that it will continue its "Color My Soldier" oral history series. The purpose of the series — which will continue through Nov. 30 — is to highlight the contributions and sacrifices of Black soldiers. The series will continue through Nov. 30. The interviews will eventually be available through the Marietta History Center's YouTube channel. Click for ticket information. (Cobb County Courier)
  3. The Marietta History Center will be showcasing "Regarding World War I" through Saturday. The exhibit is the last temporary exhibit in the "Voices from the Great War" series through Kennesaw State University. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students or seniors.
