MARIETTA, GA — Marietta residents can learn more information — and raise any concerns —about the upcoming Marietta Square water main replacement project on Tuesday at a town hall meeting, city officials said in a news release.

The project, with construction set to start in January, will take place on Waverly Way and Powder Springs Street. Marietta Water officials plan to provide information on potential road closures, safety measures and duration of the project during the Tuesday meeting.

City Manager Bill Bruton said the goal is to do most of the work at night to avoid traffic issues during the day, the Marietta Daily Journal reported.
