Marietta Couple Welcomes Cobb County's First Baby Of 2022
In the wee morning hours on New Year's Day, a Marietta couple welcomed their baby to the world — marking the first Cobb County baby of 2022.
MARIETTA, GA — Cobb County's first baby of 2022 was born an hour after midnight on New Year's Day, marking the first child born into the Wellstar Health System in 2022 as well.
Marietta couple Naisa and Alleson Satori welcomed their baby boy at 1:05 a.m. Saturday at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, 11Alive reported. Arthur Satori was born at 8 pounds and 8 ounces.
About 10 hours later, Yahri Akens became the first baby to be born at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in 2022, according to the Marietta Daily Journal. Parents Destiny Ransom and Myel Aikens welcomed their baby girl just before 11 a.m. Saturday, weighing in at 7 pounds and 8 ounces.
